Later in January in Bratislava we recorded music for the Baz Luhrmann stage-show “Strictly Ballroom: The Musical” with composer and music-producer Elliot Wheeler. This theatre production is based on the uplifting and courageous tale which originated as a stage-play in 1984, devised by Baz with a group of other students at the National Institute of Dramatic Art (NIDA), and later released as a classic rom-com movie.
